Leinster and Munster finals dominate TV weekend thrills

It’s all go this weekend as the hurling provincial finals take place after a topsy-turvy season already. Both Leinster and Munster is going down to the wire, as they look to kick off the All Ireland Season in style. Leinster has turned into a rollercoaster following the shock Kilkenny exits already, as Offaly secure their spot in the next round. Dublin have proven to be in flying form so far and were the ultimate cause of the Cats demise. Galway fell short to the Dubs
at home in the fourth round and they’ll have to pull up their socks if they want to claim the title . Both teams are favouring their chances, seeing as they’re not up against Kilkenny. The Munster title race has not been quiet either, as Tipperary fail to qualify for this years SHC. Cork have run rings around the other teams, leaving Clare just scraping the qualification line. Limerick have only faltered once so far, losing by two points to the Rebels in the second
round. They’ll be looking for a win building off their historic thrashing of Tipperary. The opening round of the Ladies Senior football championship also gets underway with four group games this weekend. The Joe McDonagh Cup is also up for grab as Laois looking to continue their winning streak over Carlow.
