Lawyer For Lindsay Clancy’s Ex-Husband Patrick Threatens Legal Action Against Conspiracy Theorists: ‘There Will Be Consequences’
Patrick Clancy has seen all those conspiracy theories floating around about him — and you can bet his attorney has too!!
As popularity around Lindsay Clancy‘s case grew, so did the inevitable conspiracy theories.
Internet sleuths started speculating that perhaps it wasn’t Lindsay who murdered their three children after all, despite the Massachusetts mom already acknowledging she did.

TikTokers, Redditors, Facebookers, and more all shared their opinions regarding Patrick. And now it’s gotten so bad that his attorney, Howard Cooper, is threatening legal action.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Patrick’s lawyer says:
“Over the past months, Patrick Clancy and his family have been subjected to a relentless, escalating and destructive defamation campaign.
This campaign of misinformation has been launched and promoted by minor celebrities, so-called influencers and outright conspiracy theorists who appear intent on boosting their own social media profiles and potential profit by publishing what they know to be outright falsehoods that Patrick was somehow involved in the death of his young children and other vile claims.
This campaign, now fueled by insatiable media coverage, remains at a fever pitch and has resulted in real life threats to his reputation, livelihood, and life.
Patrick has no choice but to address this situation – with the clear goal of stopping injurious behavior, creating accountability for lies that are self-serving to the perpetrators, and being able to return his attention to what matters: preserving the memory of Cora, Dawson and Callan Clancy and supporting other women facing perinatal mental health challenges.
Enough is enough — this spread of blatant and baseless falsehoods must stop. Those responsible should understand that there will be consequences, and every appropriate measure will be pursued to hold them accountable, including legally. Law enforcement has been notified.”
As you likely know by now, a jury could not reach a unanimous verdict in Lindsay’s trial, so on Friday a judge was forced to declare a mistrial.
Her attorney Kevin Reddington hopes President Donald Trump will find a way to pardon her, though that might be difficult since it’s at the state level, not federal.

As we’ve said before, the internet has been divided on the case.
It seems like half the commenters think Lindsay is not guilty by reason of insanity, and they’re urging society to better understand postpartum psychosis and the lack of meaningful resources mothers have at their disposal. Then you have the other half, who believe she’s completely guilty and was in total control of herself and her actions.
