Lakers’ Jarred Vanderbilt surprises the internet with Slovenia trip video

Los Angeles Lakers forward Jarred Vanderbilt had a grand time with his teammates in their recent trip to Slovenia.

When the day comes for Jarred Vanderbilt to retire from the NBA, perhaps he could pursue a career in filmmaking.

Vanderbilt, who will enter his ninth season, released a video of the Los Angeles Lakers’ team-building trip to Slovenia last month. It was by Luka Doncic in an admirable effort to build team chemistry, especially since they have a lot of new players.

Vanderbilt’s video, which he posted on Instagram, showed the Lakers kidding around, playing golf, riding bikes, eating good food, swimming in a lake, and interacting with fans, among other activities.

Move over, Martin Scorsese!

The video earned rave reviews.

“Gosh, I just love Vando’s Vault,” said @notzanewoods.

“I already need more footage,” added @rayndeer12.

“We want more,” urged @samuelargo.

“(Rob) Pelinka, we need more of this content. Keep Vando at all costs,” suggested @philflo87.

“We need part 2,” commented @lu77la.ka.

“I need as much sexy Luka footage as you got, Vando,” wrote @trrace__.

But of course, it was not all fun and games and strukljis for the Purple and Gold. They also had some work done on the court.

Vanderbilt’s video also showed how he and Doncic have developed a tight bond, which should bode well for their continued leadership.

The 27-year-old Vanderbilt will play a significant role as one of the holdovers from last season, along with Doncic, Austin Reaves, Jake LaRavia, Dalton Knecht, Bronny James, and Adou Thiero.

The Lakers stayed in Slovenia for five days, which also included charity visits to local hospitals.

Los Angeles will open its new season against the Golden State Warriors on October 21.
