Lainey Wilson’s – Lainey Wilson has released “Phone, Keys, Wallet,” a new single featuring John Mayer on guitar. Recorded at Mayer’s Chaplin Studios in Los Angeles after the final leg of her Whirlwind World Tour, the song captures Wilson’s idea of love that can handle life’s ch

The moment the song starts, it feels like momentum—fast, messy, and impossible to fake. Lainey Wilson’s new single, “Phone, Keys, Wallet,” is out now, and it comes with a guitar credit that makes the whole thing feel even more like a collision of worlds: John Mayer.

Mayer plays guitar on the track, joining Wilson as a special guest via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. Wilson wrote the song during the final leg of the Whirlwind World Tour, then recorded it at Mayer’s Chaplin Studios in Los Angeles.

The result is a celebration of the everyday chaos that doesn’t slow down for anyone. Wilson described the feeling behind the track in blunt, vivid terms. “I feel like a tornado with boots on half the time. and this song is really about finding somebody who’s okay with that chaos and chooses to love you through it anyway. ” she shared.

“Phone, Keys, Wallet” follows Wilson’s recent releases: “Younger You,” her special collaboration with Miley Cyrus, and “Can’t Sit Still.” It arrives as her momentum keeps stacking—less like a planned rollout and more like something that keeps accelerating.

This year has already been monumental for the Louisiana native. She headlined Stagecoach with an electric set. She’s also the subject of the new Netflix documentary, Lainey Wilson: Keepin’ Country Cool. And she recently kicked off a run of stadium shows with Chris Stapleton. a stretch that will continue through the summer.

The crossover energy hasn’t stayed only in music, either. Earlier this spring, Wilson made her film acting debut in Universal’s adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Reminders of Him.

The new single also lands with extra weight because it keeps company with a bigger project: “Phone, Keys, Wallet” follows the release of Whirlwind Deluxe, which features five additional tracks, including Wilson’s No. 1 single, “Somewhere Over Laredo.”
