Who needs celebrities or professional athletes when you have your sights set on royalty?
After praising Princess Kate’s field hockey abilities, which the British royal flaunted on a trip to Scotland earlier this month, Kylie Kelce invited the Princess of Wales to her podcast, “Not Gonna Lie,” to talk about field hockey, parenting, and life in the spotlight.
“Princess Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, if you ever wanted to come on and chitchat about some field hockey and maybe kids,” Kelce said during the Thursday, Sept. 24 episode. “I don’t know. We got a couple things in common.”
“Princess Kate just reminded everyone that she’s still an absolute boss at field hockey,” said Kelce, who played field hockey in college and currently coaches field hockey at her alma mater, adding that Kate, 44, “looks beautiful doing it.”
Kelce continued: “For everyone in the comments, who are about to correct me, I’m aware that she’s actually playing the Scottish sport of shinty. I’m still calling it a win for field hockey because where do you think she got that skill?”
“Yeah, that’s right. She’s a field hockey player,” she added.

Kelce is more than game to have the Princess on her podcast, noting that “our husbands chitchatted on the other podcast.”
Prince William stopped by the “New Heights” podcast, hosted by Kylie’s husband, former NFL star Jason Kelce, and brother-in-law Travis Kelce, to talk all things sports, including England’s World Cup, and of course, Taylor Swift.
“But you could come on this one. I don’t know. Just a thought. It’s a thought,” Kelce concluded. “We’d love to have you. No pressure. Please.”
The Prince of Wales met Swift in 2024, when he brought his children, Prince George, 13, and Princess Charlotte, 11, to see Swift during the first night of the Eras Tour stop in London.
William and Charlotte were spotted dancing along to “Shake It Off” at the show, an experience he remembers fondly.
“Charlotte, my daughter, and Louis, to be fair, both. Charlotte, particularly, is obsessed by Taylor Swift, and we went to see her on her Eras Tour, and it was amazing,” he said. “It was at Wembley, so we had a box, so we were watching from up there, which is quite a long way from where the actual action’s happening. The atmosphere was so incredible, you could actually feel the floors shaking when they were all dancing, so it’s brilliant.”
After watching the show from their box at Wembley Stadium, the royal family headed backstage for some one-on-one time with the “All Too Well” singer and then fiancé Travis Kelce.
