Kristen Bell just made the case for stretching the unspoken dress code rule that states you shouldn’t wear white to a wedding. The actress and her husband Dax Shepard made an appearance at Finneas and Claudia Sulewski’s wedding last weekend on August 29 in Montecito. In new photos of the wedding published by Vogue, Bell appears to have chosen an off-white sequin slip dress for the occasion.

Bell’s dress featured a disco ball-effect sequin design along with a plunging V-neck and fluttery midiskirt. She wore the dress with an oversized chocolate brown blazer. In photos shared by DeuxMoi, she could be seen wearing her hair down and straight during the outdoor ceremony, and she later swept her hair into a casual low bun.
Sulewski captioned a sweet photo of Bell and Shepard dancing: “Kristen was the first person to take her shoes off, and Dax was the only person to take his shirt off.”

The happy couple tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony officiated by Finneas’s sister Billie Eilish, who wore a corset gown for the occasion.
As for the bride, she wore a dramatic ballgown by Oscar de la Renta—along with a few other looks. “I’m excited to play into a bunch of different vibes and silhouettes across my bridal fashion story, because, obviously, we’re going to have multiple looks,” she told InStyle ahead of the wedding.
Also in attendance were Hailey and Justin Bieber—she wore a lime green dress—as well as Nina Dobrev, who sported a sky blue halter dress.
