KPop Demon Hunters. an animated film released on June 20. 2025. is staging a brand-new comeback with a merch-style twist: Penguin Random House is set to release KPop Demon Hunters: The Official Screen Comic Boxed Set. Scheduled for November 3, 2026, the 704-page collection is priced at $60 and is designed as an “ultimate collector’s item” for fans.
The story at the center of all this momentum is a very specific kind of K-pop fantasy. The film follows an all-female K-pop idol group called HUNTR/X—Rumi (Arden Cho/Ejae). Mira (May Hong/Audrey Nuna). and Zoey (Ji-young Yoo/Rei Ami)—who are secretly demon hunters.
