Karl-Anthony Towns and OG Anunoby end Knicks-Cavs run

Time for the New York Knicks to party like it’s 1999 because Karl-Anthony Towns and OG Anunoby helped them return to the NBA Finals after sweeping the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 4 on Monday night. New York boasted a 3-0 series lead going into Game 4. They pulled off a historic comeback in the fourth quarter of Game 1, taking full control of the series from there on. Cleveland failed to recover from that loss, playing catch up throughout all four games of the series.

New York made sure this series didn’t last any longer than it needed to. They put together big scoring runs throughout the course of Game 4, while suffocating Cleveland on the defensive side of the ball. As a result, the Knicks won their 11th straight game and punched their ticket as the East representative of the 2026 NBA Finals. NEW YORK ADVANCES!
