Knicks Fan Reds Punch Details Viral Light Pole Fight

Reds Punch, the woman at the center of a viral light pole altercation during the Knicks parade, says anti-Black slurs and physical attempts to pull her off the pole led to the chaotic moment—and she’s now planning to press charges.
The Knicks parade didn’t just turn into a celebration—it turned into a viral scene involving a light pole, a tense face-off, and one woman who says she was trying to keep her balance while being targeted with racist insults.
Reds Punch, the woman at the center of the viral light pole altercation, says she attended the Knicks parade “last week” and wanted a photo of herself standing on a light pole. Once she got up, she says the woman sitting underneath began calling her a “fat Black b****h.”
Reds told Justin Carter on ‘TSR Investigates’ that the confrontation didn’t feel random. She said. “I think that she could’ve been [racist]. but I feel like the way that my spirit is was very intimidating. So she had to bring out everything that she could possibly bring out to intimidate me.” In Reds’s telling. the tension came from what the woman believed her presence meant.
As the moment escalated, Reds says the person underneath didn’t stop at words. She explained that the woman pulling her leg made her think she was in danger of falling. Reds recalled. “…She pulled me. and I almost lost my footing. and she already pushed my leg when I actually tried to get down with one shoe and a sock. so what is she going to do if I still have my hands [up] and I still have her sitting there?”.
Reds also described what happened next. Carter said Reds flung the woman “like a stuffed animal,” then started twerking. Reds addressed why she reacted the way she did, and why she continued performing for the crowd after the viral exchange.
Now, Reds says she’s planning to press charges against the woman involved in the incident.

Light pole? Like why were they even up there smh.
So she wanted a photo on the pole and then some random person starts yelling at her? I mean if it’s true that’s disgusting. But also… why pull someone’s leg? Just get the pic and move on.
Wait I saw a clip like this and I thought it was some TikTok thing, not a Knicks parade. And that “twerking” part like… did she do that to fight or to be funny? Either way, the slurs are beyond messed up. Hopefully they actually press charges and not just “both sides” it.
She said she got pushed and nearly fell, but then she flung her like a stuffed animal?? That sounds wild. I’m not saying she deserved it, but maybe the person underneath was trying to help her get down? People always assume it’s racism first and don’t know the whole story. Still, if she was calling her a fat Black b***h then yeah get lawyers involved.
