Kenny Chesney, Eric Church coming to Milwaukee’s American Family Field

It’s official: American Family Field will host its first major concert since 2024 on July 10, with country superstar Kenny Chesney.
After doing shows at Sphere in Las Vegas in 2025 and 2026, Chesney is hitting the road next summer for the “Vibe Room” tour, he revealed Sept. 15. The tour will follow the Sept. 25 release of his new album, “Silver Sands Marina.”
The tour has been teased the past few days on social media pages for several North American stadiums, including American Family Field, and through Chesney’s social media accounts. As is the custom for Chesney’s stadium tours, the lineup is stacked, with Eric Church, Sheryl Crow and Greylan James on the bill. That’s quite the deal for country music fans, considering Church himself headlined the stadium in 2022.
The Milwaukee Brewers’ stadium is a favorite stop for Chesney. He first brought a tour there in 2013, the first concert tour stop at the stadium in a decade, excluding one-off events like Farm Aid in 2010. The July 10 concert will be Chesney’s sixth headlining show at the stadium; his most recent visit was in 2024, opposite Summerfest. Incidentally, Chesney’s return will once again happen during Summerfest, on the festival’s final day for 2027.
“Some stadiums, it’s like pulling teeth to do a show there. In Milwaukee, it’s not like that,” Chesney’s longtime concert promoter Louis Messina told the Journal Sentinel about staging shows at American Family Field in a 2023 interview. “From the top with management all the way down to the groundskeepers, they work with us and make it easy for us to produce shows.”
That reputation and a growing market for stadium concerts helped American Family Field have two consecutive years with a record number of concerts, four each in 2023 and 2024, led by Chesney, George Strait, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Pink and Green Day.
A Billy Joel concert at the stadium slated for 2025 was canceled, along with all of Joel’s other shows, due to health reasons. No major concerts at American Family Field were booked for 2026.
But in 2027, the stadium is one of the smallest venues to score a date on Chesney’s anticipated tour, which is largely routed through much larger NFL stadiums, including Soldier Field in Chicago.
Tickets for the Chesney’s American Family Field concert go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Sept. 25 at brewers.com/chesney, with a fan club presale available beginning at 10 a.m. Sept. 17 at kennychesney.com. Prices have not yet been announced.
