Kenan Thompson Reacts to Death of ‘All That’ Co-Star Christy Knowings, Who Passed Away at 46
Kenan Thompson is speaking out following the death of his former All That co-star Christy Knowings.
Christy died at the age of 44 following an asthma attack. She reportedly was hospitalized on August 7 and was placed on life support in a Los Angeles hospital. She passed away on August 11.
The actress joined the cast of All That in 1997 and starred for three seasons. She famously appeared in a recurring sketch called “Whateverrr!” opposite Amanda Bynes.
Kenan took to his Instagram account to pay tribute to Christy after the news of her death was made public.
“Man this one hit hard!!! Rest well Christy!!! Never could have imagined this day!! Sending so much love to her family!! She was a real one and one of the funniest people out here!!! Gonna miss you buddy!!!” he wrote.
Another All That cast member tragically died this year after being killed in a hit-and-run accident.

Kenan was a main star of All That for the first five seasons of the show from 1994 to 1999. He later returned as a guest star in future seasons.
In 2003, Kenan joined the cast of Saturday Night Live and he still remains on the show. He’s the longest-tenured cast member in the show’s history.
