Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey Parker announced she is expecting a baby, revealing an ultrasound in an Instagram clip. The news comes nearly a year after she shared the heartbreaking loss of her son, Phoenix.
For the first time in months, Kelsey Parker posted something that looks like new life.
On Sunday, May 31, Tom Parker’s widow used Instagram to share that she is pregnant and described it as “another little gift from heaven our little rainbow baby ✨.”
“A year ago next month, we lost our beautiful baby boy, Phoenix 🤍,” she wrote, setting the weight of the moment right alongside the joy. She added that “through all the heartbreak,” it now feels like Tom and Phoenix have “sent us another little gift from heaven.”
In the video she shared on Instagram, Kelsey and family members piled their hands together before revealing a black-and-white ultrasound image. A feather was placed over the picture after the announcement—an image detail that matched the tenderness of the message.
The pregnancy announcement lands almost a year after she publicly shared the loss of her son with boyfriend Will Lindsay.
“Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, you will forever be loved,” Kelsey wrote in an earlier Instagram post. In the poem that followed. she began: “For Phoenix. Born Sleeping. Forever Loved. ” describing the quiet moment “as you arrived / So loved. so longed for. yet not alive.” She wrote that their “precious boy. our angel light” was “Born with wings” and “took silent flight. ” and signed off with the idea that Phoenix “will journey with us. softly near / In every sigh. in every tear.”.
Kelsey also shared that she asked for privacy during the period when the news was still “raw.” In her Instagram Story at the time, she wrote that she appreciated messages and well-wishes, but asked “that we as a family are given space and time to process this devastating and earth-shattering news.”
The announcement carries extra emotional context because it comes after Kelsey became a mother with Tom, welcoming their children, Aurelia and Bohi.
Tom Parker died in 2022 at the age of 33, following a stage four glioblastoma diagnosis.
Her pregnancy news also echoes the way she has described her plans moving forward. In an interview published on Sunday. January 26. Kelsey told the U.K.’s The Mirror that Tom and she “always said we wanted four. but life had other plans.” She said: “So yes. this is amazing but also bittersweet. ” adding that finding out she is pregnant and moving ahead has come with the feeling. “My life could have been so different.” She said she has been “getting [her] head around it. ” and that she is “so excited. ” while also noting she wants others to be “as happy as I am.”.

First, condolences about Tom. Second, I saw the ultrasound and it just hit me like… you can’t just “gift” something after loss. Like I’m happy for her but it’s also sad sad. Cancer takes so much and then life still finds a way I guess.
This is the kind of story that makes people say “rainbow baby” but I swear half the time people don’t even know the whole timeline. Like was she already pregnant when Tom was gone or is this with the boyfriend Will? The article says so many names it’s confusing.
