Kelly Osbourne Marks First Father’s Day Without Ozzy

Kelly Osbourne shared an emotional Father’s Day message on Threads on June 21, the first since her father Ozzy Osbourne died last July at age 76.

Kelly Osbourne spent Father’s Day Sunday reaching for the one person she says she still looks for in everyday life.

On June 21, the 41-year-old daughter of Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne posted an emotional tribute on Threads — her first Father’s Day since his death last year. Ozzy passed away in July at age 76.

In her message. Kelly wrote: “Dad. I still find myself looking for you in ordinary moments the advice I need. the joke I want to tell. the victory I wish you could see. The ache of missing you is the price of loving you. and I would pay it forever rather than have never been your child at all!. I will never stop missing you. It is an honor to spend the rest of my life loving you. Until we meet again!”.

Kelly and her mother, Sharon Osbourne, have both been open about the challenging time they are facing as they continue to grieve Ozzy’s death. In recent months, Kelly has also pushed back publicly against body shamers and online bullies amid increased scrutiny over her appearance.

She has responded to criticism multiple times, including an emotional video shared in December and a verbal statement in February.

Kelly also shares a son with her ex-fiance, Slipknot musician Sid Wilson. The former couple reportedly broke up quite recently.

  1. I don’t even use Threads like that but I saw her post was trending. Ozzy being gone still feels fake to me, like how do you just… lose that guy. Also why is everyone suddenly talking about her body again like can we grieve in peace.

  2. Not to be mean but I thought Ozzy died way later? Like I swear I remember another headline, maybe it was just he got sick again. Either way, Kelly seems like she’s handling it the best she can, but the “joke I want to tell” line got me. And Sid Wilson?? I thought they were still together not too long ago, these celebrity relationships move faster than my brain.

  3. Body shaming online is disgusting but people act like that’s the whole story. It’s weird how the article mentions bullies and then the Father’s Day thing, like they’re connected or something. I just know Ozzy was hardcore, so if Kelly is still “looking for him” I get it. Still… Threads is such a weird place to announce feelings, Instagram feels more normal to me.
