Keep the umbrellas handy! Scattered storms are back in the forecast for Houston Friday

Tracking scattered showers and storms Friday
Friday’s forecast:
More hit and miss storms are expected Friday afternoon into the early evening. Temperatures climb to the mid-90s with a high humidity.
Temperatures lower:
While it’s not a drastic drop in temperatures, it will be nice to get temps closer to our seasonal average. Here’s a look at what the next three days have in store for Houston.
Tracking the tropics:
Tropical Storm Dolly has officially formed in the deep Atlantic Thursday. It is in a hostile environment and will struggle to strengthen. It should remain a tropical storm to the Leeward Islands. And it’s not out of the question it falls apart before it gets there.
10 Day Forecast:
How nice is it to see no 100° temperatures in the 10-day forecast? It’s still going to be hot, but at least we’re moving away from the excessive heat. And even better, there’s a chance of rain every day through the middle of next week.
