Karen Derrico Arrested in Vegas Over Threat Allegations

TLC’s Karen Derrico, known for “Doubling Down With the Derricos,” was arrested in Las Vegas last week on allegations that she made threats and violated a restraining order, according to court documents. She was released Sunday and arraigned Tuesday.
Karen Derrico, the matriarch of TLC’s “Doubling Down With the Derricos,” was arrested in Las Vegas after allegations involving threats and a restraining order.
Court documents obtained by TMZ state that Derrico was taken into custody last Wednesday on felony making threats or conveying false information concerning an act of terrorism, along with misdemeanor violation of a restraining order and misdemeanor harassment.
She was released from jail on Sunday, and she appeared in court for an arraignment on Tuesday. It remains unclear whether a plea was entered.
The arrest lands against a personal backdrop that has already played out publicly. TMZ previously reported that Derrico and Deon divorced in the summer of 2024, and they ended up splitting legal and physical custody of their 14 children.
That same year, the fifth and final season of “Doubling Down” aired, following the couple’s high-profile, chaotic family life—after they had 14 children following quintuplets, triplets, and twins, along with a couple other pregnancies.
