Almost three weeks after Joshua Jackson and Olivia Burgess were photographed holding hands in New York City, the pair were spotted spending more time together—this time with casual fits and a fresh set of photos shared on June 26.

Almost three weeks after photos captured the duo holding hands during an outing on June 7, Deux Moi shared new images of Jackson, 48, and Burgess, 37, spending time together in New York City. The post went up on Friday, June 26.

For this latest outing, the Doctor Odyssey star kept things laid-back in jeans paired with a white t-shirt and a navy blue button-down top. Burgess matched the casual vibe with a denim skirt and a chocolate brown tank top, finishing her look with a belt in a matching brown hue.

Their first public moment together came on Sunday. June 7. when the pair were snapped holding hands while out and about in the Big Apple. They appeared to keep the same “no-fuss” style—Jackson wore a linen button-up shirt and matching pants with sneakers and sunglasses. while Burgess. who has walked the runway for the fashion brand Jean Paul Gaultier. went with a black tank top. gray Bermuda shorts. and mules. She also wore a messy updo.

Those sightings came amid a busy couple of weeks for Jackson. Just two days after he was spotted with Burgess. he made headlines for publicly praising longtime friend and former Dawson’s Creek costar Katie Holmes. On June 9. he shared an “appreciation post” for Holmes. 47. via his Instagram after they worked together on the movie Happy Hours.

In the post, Jackson wrote, “It takes many hands to make a movie. And I am thankful to every hand that touched this one. But … this is a Katie appreciation post. ” adding that it was “because of her light” that “all those hands were brought together. ” and crediting Holmes’s “generosity of her spirit.” He also pointed to her “tenacity” in shepherding the film “from the blank page through the editing room and onto that screen last Saturday night. ” and said she’s an “incredible friend” who made “the space for us to be able to play together again after all these years.”.

Happy Hours marked the first time Jackson and Holmes have acted together since Dawson’s Creek ended in 2003. They played Pacey and Joey in the show and briefly dated offscreen for about a year following the show’s debut in 1998.

At the Tribeca Film Festival, Jackson reflected on working with Holmes and their Dawson’s Creek years. “The time that we spent together when we were young is very precious to both of us. ” he told a reporter at the event while standing beside Holmes and holding her hand in a clip shared on June 7. “And [it] is like one of the core personal and professional relationships in my life.”.

Jackson is previously married to Jodie Turner-Smith, with whom he shares daughter Juno, 6. The former couple announced their split in 2023 before finalizing their divorce in May 2025.
