John Krasinski was in full director mode as Cillian Murphy worked through scenes for the upcoming A Quiet Place Part III.
The pair were spotted filming on Sunday, June 28, in New York City. Krasinski, 46, was seen directing Murphy, 50, during production as the movie staged moments for the third entry in the franchise.
In one sequence, Murphy was seen carrying a gun and aiming at military members before running off. Between takes, Krasinski stepped in with notes for Murphy.
A Quiet Place Part III is positioned as the sequel to 2020’s A Quiet Place Part II, and it’s expected to bring the trilogy to a close that began with 2018’s A Quiet Place. Emily Blunt and Noah Jupe are set to return, joining Katy O’Brian, Jack O’Connell, and Jason Clarke.
Earlier set photos also suggested that Alex Wolff will return as Reuben from the 2024 prequel A Quiet Place: Day One, which stars Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn.
The franchise’s next chapter is scheduled to open in theaters on July 30, 2027.
