Wait so they’re saying Joe Root drinks? Like is that confirmed or just rumors from some tabloid thing. Disappointing is a weird word too.
Idk why people are acting shocked. Athletes drink all the time, it’s literally part of being famous. Also I saw another post that said it was about “wine” but this says drinking claims? Sounds like different stuff got mashed together.
I don’t even understand what “scrutiny” means here. Like was he caught drinking during a match or was it his birthday or what. They keep focusing on the drinking but not the actual rugby stuff, which feels typical to me. Anyway if he said it’s disappointing then that’s probably lawyer talk right?
