Joan Collins, 93, and husband Percy Gibson, 61, spotted in France on a yacht: photos

Joan Collins and Percy Gibson were out and about in St Tropez this week.

The couple were spotted leaving a yacht dinner on Monday, August 3, as part of their ongoing summer trip to the French Riviera. In photos obtained by Wonderwall.com, the actress, 93, and her husband, 61, looked head over heels as they walked hand in hand.

Collins went with leaf-print trousers and a black top for their date, which she accessorized with a velvet headband, gold jewelry and a silky scarf.

Gibson kept things summery in a white and pink shirt, and played the doting husband by carrying Collins’ white handbag as they stepped off the boat.

Despite their 32-year age gap, Collins and Gibson have been happily married for 24 years. The two said “I do” at London’s Claridge’s Hotel back in 2002.

Staying ageless

Collins has been coming back to St Tropez for more than 30 years. She bought her five-bedroom villa in the early 1990s and still spends three to four months there each summer.

But it’s not just the outdoor lifestyle that’s kept Collins looking ageless. Her beauty routine plays a big part too. She’s spoken about it repeatedly over the years, insisting that her looks aren’t the result of Botox or plastic surgery.

Collins has previously said that she’s also learned to “eat less” as she’s gotten older, claiming she now eats just a quarter of what she consumed when she was 25.

Healthy habits

Speaking to The Express, Collins revealed that she’s only had Botox once and hated how it affected her facial expressions. “I’m an actress, I have to have expression,” she said.

She also shared her general philosophy on food and skincare. “You need half the food at 50 as you ate at 25. Half as much again at 75. I’m going to live to be 100, and I am telling you: look after your skin. Never leave the house without make-up,” Collins continued.

“Don’t diet, just eat less. Never drink tap water. If you need to drop a few pounds to fit into something, eat boiled eggs and broccoli for three days.”

Keeping active

Collins has switched up her approach to fitness over the years, saying her workouts were quite different when she was younger.

“My exercise regime has changed a lot over the years. I was very active as a young girl. From the time I was 16, I went to discotheques, dance halls, and nightclubs and danced the night away for hours and hours,” she told Platinum magazine.

She eventually started doing gym workouts and Pilates, but acknowledged that the body becomes less able to handle that much “stress” with age.

Collins had to cut back on exercise in recent years after a trapped nerve kept her from getting around for two months.
