Jesse Watters didn’t wait long to turn Milly Alcock’s “Supergirl” speculation into a personal jab.

On Thursday’s episode of “The Five. ” the Fox News host circled back to Alcock’s suggestion that her titular superhero “might go both ways. ” then went after bisexual women—calling them “weird” and saying they can’t be trusted. His comments landed in the middle of hype around the DC Universe film. which is set to hit theaters on Friday.

Watters said, “No man will ever see this movie,” adding that “most women won’t see it,” before pivoting to who would actually show up. “The ones that do, there’s just not enough of them to make money from the movie, if you know what I mean.”

From there, he zeroed in on Alcock’s wording. “But the whole bisexual thing … guys don’t get into that,” he said. “Maybe that’s cool when you’re 18, but when a girl’s bisexual, we don’t trust her. We don’t trust her. And the ones I’ve met are super weird. So to say you’re bisexual, it’s not a turn on. It’s not a turn on.”.

Clip the remarks and they spread fast—shared widely on X not long after the episode aired on June 25. 2026. with viewers reacting to what they saw as a direct connection between someone’s sexuality and supposed “arousal.” One critic asked. “Does he think people are bisexual for the arousal of others?” Another user wrote. “Ah yes. the reason why women identify a certain way. Because it’s a turn on for Jesse Watters.” A third added. “Watters is babbling about something he knows nothing about. Sorry to say, guys ARE into it.”.

The backlash also brought attention to what Alcock actually said in the first place. At the London premiere last week. Alcock was asked by AP News whether Supergirl identifies as LGBTQ+. and she answered. “I don’t know.” She explained that she sees “what makes this film so beautiful” as the story not being “centered around a man” or even “centered around love at all … But. we’ll see.” Then she added. “I don’t really know. She’d probably go both ways.”.

Supergirl is scheduled to soar into theaters on June 26.
