Jesse Watters Gave Jon Ossoff The Last Thing Trump’s White House Wanted

This past weekend, Ossoff went viral after he quipped during a speech that the president doesn’t actually “want to do the job,” but just “wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the emir of Qatar.”
The “Natalie” Ossoff was referring to is Trump aide Natalie Harp, whose job duties include following the president around, minding his Truth Social account, and, of course, printing out positive articles about him for him to read.
She has also reportedly sent Trump cringe-adjacent messages like “You are all that matters to me,” “I don’t ever want to let you down,” and “I want to bring you joy.”
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung responded to Ossoff’s remarks by calling him a “cuck loser,” and other MAGA voices such as CNN contributor Scott Jennings also tried to defend Trump.
During Tuesday’s episode of “The Five,” fellow panelist Dana Perino pointed out to Watters that Ossoff’s comments were part of the speech, not off-the-cuff. Watters then gave the reason he wasn’t “fazed” the way other conservatives were.
“Has Trump said so much worse, so much more sleazy things against other people? Yes,” Watters said. “Have I defended those things? Absolutely. So, I’m not going to pretend I’m all hot and bothered about this.”
Watters’ measured response stunned people on social media, but perhaps no one more than fellow panelist Jessica Tarlov, who happened to be off that day.
“Hate when I’m out for these moments of clarity,” she posted on X.
Others couldn’t believe what they witnessed.
