Strong. as Zuckerberg. is presented with a dead-eyed. intensely focused look and a careful speech cadence that mirrors Zuckerberg “as he’s become” in the public imagination. In the teaser. he says he’s far from the “dorm room” days. and that when he says the conversation is over. it’s over.

Sorkin also spoke on stage about what the film is aiming to capture, saying Facebook’s influence “has reshaped everything” since he made the first film about the dream of a social network that “exploded into a global corporation.”

Strong and Sorkin have a working history beyond this new Zuckerberg chapter. Strong previously starred in Trial of the Chicago 7 as Vietnam War-era social activist and peace leader Jerry Rubin. He also played a historical figure most recently in The Apprentice as Trump’s ’70s and ’80s lawyer Roy Cohn.

  1. I don’t even know who Mikey Madison is but if she’s playing Frances Haugen then ok. Frances leaked stuff right? So is the movie gonna be like all about whistleblowing or whatever.

  2. Jeremy Strong as Zuckerberg makes zero sense to me, like he looks too intense already lol. Also “Oct 9 Friday” sounds fake like they just picked a date. Isn’t Zuckerberg like always in court or banned or something? idk

  3. I saw “The Social Reckoning” trailer and thought it was gonna be about Facebook shutting down or something. Frances Haugen was from the Wall Street Journal too right, so why is Jeff Horwitz in it like that’s definitely who it was? And Bill Burr as who even… anyway I’ll probably watch just because Sorkin wrote The Social Network and I liked that one.
