Jelly Roll announces short hiatus from touring to ‘heal’ after sudden Bunnie Xo divorce
Jelly Roll announced last week that he is stepping away from touring for at least a year to focus on his mental health, following the recent finalization of his divorce from Bunnie Xo. He shared this update during a concert at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah, as his latest run of live performances neared its end.
Speaking to concertgoers during the show, he said, “This has truly been a lifetime experience for me. And in a couple of nights, I go to Colorado Springs and do my last show for a year or two. I’m fixing to take some time off and heal. Thank you for the opportunity” (per Country Now).
His tour ended with a July 30 performance at Weidner Field in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Jelly’s official website currently lists no upcoming performances, confirming his temporary break from live shows.
Jelly filed for divorce from Bunnie in May after nearly a decade of marriage, with the process finalized in July. Court documents obtained by Page Six indicate that Bunnie will receive a one-time lump-sum payment as part of the settlement.
They also signed a confidential property settlement agreement (CPSA) outlining the division of shared assets, including real estate, furniture, vehicles, an aircraft, financial accounts, debt and intellectual property.
Despite their divorce, the two reportedly plan to have children together through IVF. Reports indicate they made this decision despite legal counsel advising against it.
Both have begun new chapters in their personal lives. In June, Bunnie shared on her “Dumb Blonde” podcast that Jelly had started dating again. On July 4, TMZ released video of Bunnie kissing Calabasas Confidential star Dylan Wolf at Jelly’s Goodnight Nashville bar in Nashville, Tennessee.
During a TikTok livestream last month, Jelly’s 18-year-old daughter, Bailee Ann DeFord, suggested there is more to the split than fans realize. She stated that neither Jelly nor Bunnie had been unfaithful but hinted that the truth would eventually come out.
“Y’all have no f****** idea what happened, and wait till y’all find out. Just f****** wait… Because I promise y’all, the view of what y’all have of not only the situation, but their relationship… The internet in totality is about to f****** crumble the day that I open my mouth,” she said.
