Jaxon Kohler narrows choice to two options with decision expected Thursday

A decision is coming for Michigan State transfer Jaxon Kohler, who previously narrowed his options down to four schools: BYU, Kentucky, Louisville and Kansas.

The 6-11 forward has since cut his list two just two remaining finalists, with the Cougars and Wildcats fighting for his services, sources tell KSR.

You won’t have to wait long for a commitment, either, as one is now expected to come on Thursday — potentially as early as this afternoon. Both schools shared their pitches on Wednesday, including a 2.5-hour Zoom with Kentucky earlier in the day, followed by an evening talk with BYU.

“We met with both sides, and we’re gonna announce something today,” one source told KSR. “… We have to do it today.”

Will it be BYU or UK? We’ll find out shortly.
