A terrifying knife-point robbery at a family home in Porto has rocked FC Porto defender Jan Bednarek.
Misryoum understands the former Premier League centre-back was reportedly threatened by an intruder while returning to his residence with his wife Julia and their daughter.. The incident reportedly took place at around 9:30pm. with the suspect escaping with jewellery valued at £130. 000. according to accounts carried by Portuguese media.
Police were first called to the scene, and Misryoum reports that the investigation has now been transferred to Portugal’s judicial police. Reports also indicate that Bednarek and his family were not physically harmed during the ordeal.
