Mascha Schilinski’s ‘In die Sonne schauen’ wins Golden Lola

Berlin (dpa) – The drama In die Sonne schauen [Sound of Falling] by director Mascha Schilinski won ten awards at the German Film Awards, including the Golden Lola for Best Feature Film. This was announced by the German Film Academy in Berlin. Telling the story of several women living on a farm across different time periods, the film went into the awards with the most nominations. The 85-year-old actress was named Best Actress for her role in the tragicomedy. Director Wim Wenders (Paris, Texas) received the honorary award for his contribution to German cinema.
