Berlin (dpa) – The drama In die Sonne schauen [Sound of Falling] by director Mascha Schilinski won ten awards at the German Film Awards, including the Golden Lola for Best Feature Film. This was announced by the German Film Academy in Berlin. Telling the story of several women living on a farm across different time periods, the film went into the awards with the most nominations. Letters] received the Silver Lola, while the Bronze Lola went to Ach, diese Lücke, diese entsetzliche Lücke [Oh, This Unspeakable Void], based on the novel of the same name by Joachim Meyerhoff and directed by Simon Verhoeven, the son of Senta Berger. The 85-year-old actress was named Best Actress for her role in the tragicomedy. Director Wim Wenders (Paris, Texas) received the honorary award for his contribution to German cinema. Wenders used the occasion to address a controversial nude scene in his 1975 film Falsche
Bewegung [The Wrong Move], saying he would no longer film the scene in the same way today, as it featured actress Nastassja Kinski, who was only 13 at the time.
