Ice Spice is being pulled into a courtroom schedule later this year.

The 26-year-old “Big Guy” rapper, legally known as Isis Gaston, has been ordered to sit for a deposition in Manhattan this September, according to new legal documents.

The deposition is tied to a lawsuit brought by Thee Bella Brand LLC. The company filed the case in 2025 claiming Ice Spice agreed to purchase more than 25 custom wigs for roughly $20. 000 but never paid. The business is also alleging she bad-mouthed the company online. saying that behavior led to more than $400. 000 in lost business opportunities and punitive damages.

Ice Spice has denied the allegations. Even so, the case is moving forward, with two other witnesses also set to be questioned.

A discovery deadline is currently set for January of 2027, and there is also a settlement conference that could decide the direction of the lawsuit—potentially keeping it from going to trial.

Outside the courtroom, Ice Spice has recently been dealing with attention on other viral moments, including breaking her silence on a now-viral video of her being slapped in the face by a fan inside a McDonald’s. She also addressed speculation surrounding her weight loss.

All of that buzz, though, comes as her wig case heads toward a formal deposition in Manhattan this September, with the schedule already locked in and the timeline stretching to January 2027 for discovery.

  1. I don’t really care about the wig stuff, but the headline sounds like they’re dragging her into court over $20k which is insane to me. Also isn’t she the one who got slapped at McDonald’s? Feels like they just pick on celebrities for everything.

  2. Bro the article keeps saying “Isis Gaston” like that’s her government name but Ice Spice is the stage name right. So they’re really saying she didn’t pay for 25 wigs and also bad-mouthed them online?? If she denied it then why is it “moving forward” like automatically guilty??

  3. Deposition in September in Manhattan… so basically she has to show up and talk about wigs for months? Meanwhile discovery till January 2027 like okay. And it says the company claims lost business opportunities like $400,000 and punitive damages, but who even tracks that stuff? I saw that McDonald’s slap video going around too and I’m like can’t people just let her breathe? Also the weight loss speculation part, why is that even in the same article…
