Hyatt’s new-hotel boost brings 500 points a night

World of Hyatt is offering 500 bonus points per night for stays at select new hotels—no registration required. The catch is staying during each property’s limited offer window and meeting rate and room rules.

For people chasing points, the best perks sometimes show up quietly—and then disappear just as fast. World of Hyatt is currently running a promotion that adds 500 bonus points for every qualifying night at select hotels new to the Hyatt portfolio.

Hyatt members don’t have to register for it. which means it’s easy to miss—or never hear about at all. Still. the offer has clear conditions: you only earn the bonus if your checkout date falls within the promotion period for that specific hotel. and you have to provide your World of Hyatt number at check-in.

The bonus is tied to how you book. Members must either pay an eligible rate or redeem a Hyatt free night certificate (including Hyatt points). Groups, conventions, other promotional offers, tour packages, and special rate programs aren’t eligible. The promotion also applies to one room per night. and it generally takes three to four weeks for the bonus points to show up in your account.

A single night can be worth real money to frequent travelers. The Points Guy values 500 bonus points at $7.75 based on its June 2026 valuations.

Hyatt’s own page lists which properties are currently participating, along with their offer windows. In the United States, there are 14 new Hyatt hotels offering the boost—each with a different end date. Chattanooga, Tennessee’s Caption by Hyatt Chattanooga Downtown runs until June 30. Where this promotion lands you in terms of point-redeeming options also depends on the category mix. The current list includes four Category 1 hotels and nine Category 2 hotels, which means there are several lower-category redemption options if you plan to pay with World of Hyatt points.

Still, new buildings can come with trade-offs. While the bonus is designed to make stays more rewarding. new hotels may still be ironing out operations. and not all on-site facilities may be fully operational. For travelers, that’s the real-world balance: a stronger points return paired with the reality of openings still settling in.

  1. No registration required sounds great until you realize you have to book the exact “eligible” rate. I never get these right and then I’m stuck with regular points. Seems like a trick.

  2. Wait, so if you pay cash you get the 500? But if you use a free night certificate it also counts? That’s… weird, I thought free nights were always excluded from promos. Either way, 3-4 weeks for points to show up is brutal.

  3. Hyatt really said “quietly boosts points” like people aren’t out here checking dates like it’s tax season. Also one room per night?? So if I’m with my family we’re screwed? Not sure why they make it so complicated for such a small bonus. I’m guessing this is why people chase points and then get mad at the math.
