School is in session once again for Hoda Kotb’s kids.
On Sept. 8, Hoda posted a trio of photos on Instagram of her and her ex-fiancé, Joel Schiffman, sending daughters Haley, 9, and Hope, 7, back to school.
“It’s here! First day of school💥. 4th and 2nd grade! Whaaaatttt?” she captioned the pictures.
Two of the photos featured Hoda, Schiffman and the girls walking away from the camera, while the third shot featured all four posing together with smiles.
Fans were loving seeing Hoda and Schiffman with their girls.
“Awwwwww so lovely!!!!” one person commented.
“May this new year bring lots of learning and enjoyment for your girls 🌟🤩🙏🏻 Hoda you really teach your people what parenting is about…togetherness for the girls good! Congratulations,” someone else wrote.

Haley and Hope returned to school less than a month after they helped their mother celebrate her 62nd birthday in August with a surprise party they put together.
“#luckyme,” she captioned a clip of the bash that she shared on Instagram.
It’s back to school season for all the TODAY parents. Dylan Dreyer sent sons Calvin, 9, Ollie, 6, and Rusty, 4, off to the same school district for the first time earlier this month, getting a break from the chaos of having kids at different schools .
“I’m excited about a little consistency,” she told TODAY.com.
Hoda and Schiffman were together from 2013 until she announced they had called off their engagement in January 2022. She honors her ex-fiancé each Father’s Day, captioning an Instagram post in June 2026, “Best father’s day to the best father.”
Hoda recently teased a potential development in her love life on TODAY, telling Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones Aug. 21 about a chance encounter she had with a man on a plane. After feeling a strong “connection” during their mid-flight conversation, he wound up in the audience at Cannes where Hoda was discussing her company, Joy 101. They have since been in touch over text.
Sandra Bullock recently pressed Hoda for more information during their interview about “Practical Magic 2.”
“I didn’t know if it was a connection like just a bond for a second, or was it something — I don’t know,” Hoda told Bullock. “I still don’t know.”
