Idaho at No. 21 Utah, 9 p.m. | ESPNU
The No. 21 Utah Utes welcome the Idaho Vandals to Rice-Eccles Stadium tonight for their first meeting since 1993. This marks the first, regular season game for Utah under new head coach Morgan Scalley, who made his debut with the Utes in a 44-22 win over Nebraska in the 2025 Las Vegas Bowl.

Friday, Sept. 4
No. 7 Miami (Fla.) at Stanford, 9 p.m. | ESPN
The No. 7 Miami Hurricanes make the cross-country trip to Stanford for an ACC matchup on Friday night. Miami’s new quarterback, Duke transfer Darian Mensah, grew up in California a few hours away from Stanford.

Saturday Sept. 5
Boise State at No. 2 Oregon, 3:30 p.m. | CBS
The No. 2 Oregon Ducks open the 2026 season at home against Boise State.
Oregon went 13-2 last year, with its only two losses against reigning CFP champions Indiana in the regular season and in the CFP semifinals. Meanwhile, the Broncos are coming off a 9-5 season.
The Ducks outlasted the Broncos in their last meeting, 37-34, on Sept. 7, 2024.

Clemson at No. 11 LSU, 7:30 p.m. | ABC
The No. 11 LSU Tigers welcome Clemson to Tiger Stadium in a rematch of last year’s season opener.
LSU won last year’s showdown, 17-10, in what was a top-10 matchup at the time.

Sunday, Sept. 6
No. 24 Louisville vs. No. 9 Ole Miss, 7:30 p.m. | ABC
The No. 9 Ole Miss Rebels face the No. 24 Louisville Cardinals in the only, Top 25 showdown of Week 1 at Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans, in Nashville.

Wisconsin vs. No. 4 Notre Dame, 7:30 p.m. | NBC
Another Sunday college football game taking place in an NFL stadium. The No. 4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish take on the Wisconsin Badgers at Green Bay’s Lambeau Field.
Notre Dame closed out last season on a 10-game win streak, but were on the outside looking in when it came to the College Football Playoffs. They’ll look to make an early statement this season, starting with the Badgers.

Monday, Sept. 7
No. 19 SMU at Florida State, 7:30 p.m. | ESPN
The No. 19 SMU Mustangs travel to Florida State for a Week 1, ACC showdown. SMU quarterback Kevin Jennings returns after leading the program to a 9-4 record last season, including a 24-19 win over Arizona in the Holiday Bowl.
Florida State won its Week 0 opener over New Mexico State, 34-17.
