Here’s how you can get Pixel Watch 5’s exclusive watch faces on your Pixel Watch 4

- You can install the new Pixel Watch 5 watch faces onto a Pixel Watch 4 by sideloading the APK using the GeminiMan WearOS Manager app.
- The process gives access to Weave, Chronograph, Steph Curry-edition, Multicolor Reveal, and Multicolor Modular watch faces from the Pixel Watch 5 onto the Pixel Watch 4.
- This sideloading trick only works on the Pixel Watch 4. Older models (Pixel Watch 1, 2, and 3) are not supported.
Google launched the Pixel Watch 5 earlier this month, bringing over upgrades like a bigger battery, a faster SoC, double the storage, and other features. Google also added two new watch faces, Weave and Chronograph, along with the ability to create your own custom watch face. If you have a Pixel Watch 4 and are feeling left out, there’s good news: You can install the new Pixel Watch 5 watch faces on your older Pixel Watch 4.
Reddit user m0rr0ng0 shared that you only need to download the latest version of the Pixel Watch Faces app and install it using GeminiMan (or other sideloading means):
- Download and install the GeminiMan WearOS Manager app on both your Android phone and your Pixel Watch.
- Download the latest version of the Pixel Watch Faces app (v5.0.231.924930285) to your phone.
- Enable Developer Options on your Pixel Watch: Go to Settings > System > About > Version on your Pixel Watch, then tap Build number seven times.
- Enable Wireless Debugging: After enabling Developer Options, navigate to Settings > Developer Options and turn on ADB Debugging and Wireless Debugging.
- Generate pairing code:
- Ensure that your Android phone and your Pixel Watch are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Under Wireless Debugging, tap on Pair new device to get a pairing code and your IP details.
- Open GeminiMan WearOS Manager on your phone and enter the IP details and pairing code to connect your Pixel Watch 4 to your phone.
- In GeminiMan WearOS Manager on your phone, scroll down and select the Install APK file option, then select the Pixel Watch Faces APK you downloaded.
- GeminiMan WearOS Manager will install the APK on your Pixel Watch 4 over wireless ADB.
Once the APK is installed on your Pixel Watch 4, you will be able to see the new Weave and Chronograph watch faces and set them as your active watch face. You also get the Steph Curry-edition watch face, the new Multicolor Reveal, and the Multicolor Modular watch faces.
Note that sideloading the new watch faces will only work for the Pixel Watch 4. If you are using a Pixel Watch 3, Pixel Watch 2, or the original Pixel Watch, you are out of luck. The new watch faces will not load on your smartwatch, likely because of Watch Face Format requirements.
