Tennessee (1-0) opened its preseason schedule in the NFL on Thursday. The Titans defeated San Francisco (0-1), 19-13, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Former Vol quarterback Hendon Hooker appeared in the contest for the Titans. He completed 2-of-3 passing attempts for 17 yards. Hooker also totaled -2 rushing yards and two fumbles (two recoveries) on three attempts. He was not sacked against the 49ers.
Cam Ward started for Tennessee and completed 5-of-12 passing attempts for 57 yards.
Quarterbacks Will Levis and Mitchell Trubisky also appeared in the contest for Tennessee. Levis completed 3-of-8 passing attempts for 42 yards, while Trubisky totaled 23 yards on 2-of-3 passing attempts.
Running back Tony Pollard scored the Titans’ only touchdown. He scored on a five-yard rushing attempt in the first quarter. Pollard recorded 22 rushing yards on four attempts.
Tennessee kicker Joey Slye converted 4-of-4 field goal attempts and 1-of-1 extra point attempts.
