On the June 2 episode of “Hollywood & Divine,” Heather Locklear offered a rare, heartfelt glimpse into her relationship with Lorenzo Lamas—saying the love she shares feels rooted in God.
Heather Locklear rarely opens up about her love life. But on June 2, she made an exception—talking about her “new guy,” Lorenzo Lamas, in a way that sounded more like gratitude than romance.
During her appearance on the June 2 episode of the “Hollywood & Divine” podcast. Locklear briefly described what’s different about this relationship now that she’s found someone she clearly doesn’t take lightly. “My new guy is very [pause] everything. I’m just like. when I tell this person I love him. I’m really saying. ‘I love you. God.’ Because that’s what happened. It’s from God… I’m [in] the best time [of my life]. ” she told the hosts. Locklear and Lamas have been dating for months now, and the story didn’t stay private for long. TMZ was the first to share the news, along with photos showing the two spending time together in Las Vegas. Around the same time in April, a source close to the couple told People that the relationship was true.
The romance has also started to show up closer to home—inside the Lamas family. On June 5, Shayne Lamas posted an Instagram photo that included Heather. The image was taken after graduation ceremonies for Shayne’s children: Press, who completed eighth grade, and Lyon, who finished fifth grade.
In the picture, Lorenzo stands on the far left holding a bouquet of flowers, with Heather right next to him. On the far right, Shayne poses while her children stand between them. With a lei around her neck, Press holds up her middle school diploma. Shayne captioned it, “The Lamas & Locklear Crew celebrating @presslamas_richie & @lyonlamasrichie graduation of 8th & 5th!. Summer Time!”.
Shayne’s connection with Heather also surfaced last month through a Mother’s Day tribute shared on Instagram. The post featured a black-and-white photo of 21-year-old Heather and 25-year-old Lorenzo. Shayne wrote, “Beautiful Heather I adore you. The generous, loving, gracious energy you have makes you a very rare woman.”.
She went on to describe what she believes Lorenzo’s relationship with Heather means for her—pointing to how her father’s love has renewed her faith. Shayne added that her late mother. Michele Smith. died in 2018. and she suggested her mother would have felt the same happiness. “Watching your relationship with my Dad genuinely makes me believe, ones true love will be ones lasting love. I hope you know how appreciated and loved you are by myself and my children… [My mother is] in heaven and I know she loves this for you both as well. ” she concluded.
Between Locklear’s June 2 remarks—where she framed her feelings as coming “from God”—and Shayne’s public welcome of Heather into family moments, the relationship has moved from rumor to something unmistakably more personal, visible, and shared.

I’m confused, is Lorenzo Lamas the one from that old TV show? Because if it is, he kinda always seemed like the “playboy” type so saying “I love you God” is like… whiplash lol. Also Shayne Lamas posting them at graduation?? That feels like PR but idk.
This is cute and all but I swear I saw something last week that said they weren’t even together?? TMZ, People, Instagram… it’s like a rumor buffet.
