Dee Dee Blanchard. falsely claimed that Dee Dee suffered from multiple diseases—including cancer and developmental disabilities. Dee Dee allegedly forced Gypsy to use a wheelchair, lie about her age, take unneeded medications, and undergo procedures.

In 2015, Gypsy and her internet boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, planned to kill Dee Dee. He later stabbed her with Gypsy present in the home, and they both fled—before police arrested them. Gypsy was granted parole on December 28, 2023, after serving about 8.5 years of her sentence. Since then, she’s done interviews, published work, divorced from Ryan Anderson, and married Ken Urker. She and Urker welcomed a daughter named Aurora in late 2024. As of June 2025, her parole has ended, marking the completion of her sentence.

Not everyone is treating it as a straight punchline. @raqfeenn_ added, “*gets flashback from last time*,” and @kit asked, “Are u sure we playing tho.” @felicity_ simply wrote, “You a little much bestie.”

Still, plenty of commenters are laughing along. “you’re funny asf for this,” @misandristonmain posted. @toadleftnipple wrote, “we’ve all crashed out, don’t let them gaslight u 😂.” @La said, “Hey fren, was you really playing though.”

  1. It’s an 8 second POV, y’all are acting like she’s out here campaigning. I get the case is dark but the caption is just TikTok humor, not a confession or anything.

  2. Playing crazy?? She murdered someone though… like “everybody want to play crazy” sounds gross when the whole thing started with her mom faking illnesses. I don’t care if she jokes now, “crazy” isn’t a punchline.

  3. I’m confused why TikTok even pushes this. I thought she already got out because of good behavior and now everybody’s talking like she’s “healed” or whatever. Also “POV: story of my life” like… her life wasn’t a game. Idk people should stop calling it dark humor and just call it weird timing.
