Gill and Sudharsan smash CSK as Titans reach 62-0

Gujarat Titans captain, Shubman Gill, and fellow opener Sai Sudharsan gave their side a solid start reaching 62-0 in the Power Play after being asked to bat first in their Tata IPL match against the Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Thursday. Right hander Gill stroked five mostly orthodox fours and a beautiful straight six in his 35* from 18 balls with left hander Sudharsan adding three more in his 21* from 18 with Australian left armer, Spencer Johnson, taking
most of the punishment with two overs costing 30 runs. The Titans have already qualified for the play-offs and are pushing for a top-two finish while victory for the Super Kings will give them a slim, mathematical chance of qualifying depending on a number of other results.
