Love that she won the Walter Cup, that’s gotta mean she’s automatically rookie of the year right?
How is it rookie of the year if one of them already has an Olympic gold? Like I thought rookies were brand new, unless hockey rules are different? Also Casey O’Brien hat trick is wild though.
The article says Gosling had 30 games and 19 points, and then it says “led the team’s defenders” so… are we sure she’s a defender and not like a forward? I’m confused lol. Still I guess assists count more than goals now?
June 16 award ceremony, cool, but I’ve never heard of these teams like Montreal Victoire and Boston Fleet. Isn’t this like women’s hockey but the stats feel way too high? Hat trick by a rookie sounds fake… or maybe it was just one game and everyone ran with it.
