Giants’ Cam Skattebo, rescue dog duke star in NFL’s first pet food deal

The New York Giants sit at the center of a first-of-its-kind NFL sponsorship announced on Wednesday. The Farmer’s Dog, a fresh human-grade dog food company, signed a multi-year deal to become the league’s first Official Pet Food Partner. The campaign launches with Giants running back Cam Skattebo and his senior rescue dog, Duke.
Skattebo and Duke have been long-time customers. The spot follows them through early mornings, long drives, recoveries, and the quiet routines that defined their relationship before Skattebo reached the NFL. It also features his Dachshund puppies, Cheech and Daizy, underscoring the bond dogs bring at every stage of life.
“I’ve had Duke for every high and every low. He’s been my teammate long before football became my career,” Skattebo said. “I started feeding him The Farmer’s Dog because I wanted as many healthy years with him as possible. If The Farmer’s Dog teaming up with the NFL gets even one more person thinking differently about what they feed their dog, that’s something I’m proud to be part of.”
The partnership will include exclusive content and experiences at Super Bowl LXI, the NFL Combine and the NFL Draft, along with community programs such as My Cause My Cleats, Salute to Service and NFL FLAG. The company already serves as the official pet food of the Dallas Cowboys.
The timing is notable for Giants fans. Skattebo is preparing for the 2026 season after a severe ankle injury cut short his rookie year. A campaign built around recovery, loyalty, and everyday companionship lands as he returns to the field.
