Giants’ Abdul Carter fires back at Jaxson Dart

Abdul Carter accused teammate Jaxson Dart of using an AI-made video to introduce President Donald Trump, after Dart introduced Trump at a New York event and praised him as an “honor.” The comment has sparked debate over whether the locker room is split ahead o

New York Giants football news has a new wrinkle off the field: Abdul Carter went public with a blunt claim about teammate Jaxson Dart’s moment with President Donald Trump.

Dart introduced Trump at an event in New York on Friday. and after leading the crowd in a “Go. Big Blue!” chant. Dart said it was “a pleasure” to introduce the president. “What an honor. what a privilege it is to be here and…I’m grateful. I’m honored. I’m pleasured to introduce…President Donald J. Trump,” Dart said.

Carter didn’t keep his reaction private. On X, formerly Twitter, the Giants teammate said he thought the video of Dart speaking at a Trump rally was “AI” or made by artificial intelligence. “Thought this s*** was AI, what we doing man,” Carter wrote.

The post immediately fed into a wider debate among Giants fans because Carter is understood to disagree with Trump’s beliefs. Trump is a polarizing figure. and the comments that have followed Dart’s appearance have pointed to criticism of Trump’s role in the ongoing war in Iran. and his expansion of the operations of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which has been linked to the death of American citizens.

Even with that backlash, Trump has shown support for Dart directly. At the same time he praised the quarterback. Trump predicted that Dart. who is 23 years old. would be a “future Hall of Famer.” Trump also described Dart as “a beautiful guy” and said he has “legs like tree trunks.” The clip of Trump’s remarks included the line: “I’m looking at Jaxon… I’m looking at the legs there. He’s this beautiful guy. He’s got legs like tree trunks. This is not a good thing for women.”.

With the Giants already focused on improving ahead of the 2026 season. the timing of Carter’s reaction has added a new question mark inside the building: whether differences between the two 2025 NFL Draft picks at quarterback and in the defensive ranks—Dart and Carter—become something that lingers when the games start.

For now, it’s unclear what, if anything, changes for New York on the field. But Carter’s choice to challenge the authenticity of Dart’s Trump introduction—right after Dart delivered the president’s welcome—has ensured this won’t be treated like background noise.

  1. I mean the “beautiful guy…legs like tree trunks” thing is already wild enough, and now Carter’s calling the video AI?? This is why teams can’t just stay focused.

  2. Wait so Carter thinks Dart used an AI video to introduce Trump, but Dart literally said it was an honor on camera?? Unless the whole event was fake? Kinda sounds like people just want drama.

  3. Disagree with Trump or not, I don’t get how it’s “AI” like automatically. Maybe Dart’s just getting clipped weird or the audio was messed up. Also Carter “doesn’t keep reaction private” like… okay? Could’ve just talked in the locker room instead of tweeting it out.
