Fubo has added six free, ad-supported streaming channels from NBCUniversal, expanding the service’s no-extra-cost lineup after the companies restored NBC-owned local stations under a recently completed distribution agreement. The new channels are NBC Sports Now, Telemundo News, Caso Cerrado, DateLine 24-7, El Señor de los Cielos, and Today All-Day. All six are FAST services, meaning they can be watched without an add-on package beyond a qualifying Fubo plan, though they carry advertising.
The additions follow months of staggered restoration after a lengthy blackout that began in late 2025, when NBCUniversal programming left Fubo during a failed carriage renewal. A new deal announced in June 2026 first returned Spanish-language networks Telemundo and Universo, then rolled out English-language networks, regional sports channels, the relaunched NBC Sports Network, and NBC-owned local affiliates. By early September, Fubo said it had nationwide coverage of NBC markets, putting local news, weather, and network primetime back in front of subscribers in every designated market area.
The six FAST channels fill a different role from those linear locals. Instead of live station feeds, they package NBCUniversal library and franchise programming into always-on streams. NBC Sports Now is built around sports talk, highlights, event replays, and specialty coverage rather than the flagship live rights that sit on NBC, NBCSN, and regional sports networks. Telemundo News offers continuous Spanish-language news, while Caso Cerrado brings the long-running courtroom and advice format associated with Telemundo’s daytime slate. DateLine 24-7 is a round-the-clock true-crime loop drawn from the Dateline franchise. El Señor de los Cielos is a dedicated stream of the hit Telemundo narco-drama series. Today All-Day extends the morning-show brand into an all-hours mix of lifestyle, news segments, and familiar studio programming.
For Fubo, the timing is practical. Football season and the return of local NBC affiliates have already recast the service as a more complete live-TV alternative. FAST channels let the platform keep viewers inside the app between games and newscasts without raising the headline subscription price. They also deepen the Spanish-language offering that became strategically important during the 2026 World Cup window, when Telemundo’s live rights helped Fubo recover sports-minded Latino households after the blackout.
The mix also mirrors how NBCUniversal has used FAST elsewhere: take established brands, strip them into 24-hour channels, and place them on virtual cable services and free streaming platforms. Fubo already carried some NBCUniversal FAST inventory before the dispute. The latest six titles look like the delayed FAST portion of the June agreement finally landing after locals were restored.
Subscribers should see the channels appear in Fubo’s guide alongside other free streams, typically searchable by name. Availability can still vary by plan and market, especially for Spanish-language titles that sit more naturally on Latino packages even when they are not extra-cost add-ons. The broader NBC restoration remains incomplete in one sense: some former NBCUniversal cable brands that later moved into other corporate structures have not all returned. What has returned, however, is the core combination Fubo needed most—local NBC stations plus sports and Spanish-language inventory—and now a thicker layer of free companion channels.
That combination is the story behind the guide update. The June deal ended the blackout. The September local rollout closed the last major hole in the national station map. The six FAST channels are the latest piece of that same settlement, giving Fubo more NBC-branded inventory that costs the subscriber nothing beyond the ads.
