France’s World – France arrived in Boston and gave a glimpse of their stay at the Four Seasons Hotel on Boylston Street, where the team’s rooms include personalized items and a fully booked base near Boston’s Public Garden.

The France team’s behind-the-scenes look came courtesy of defender Jules Koundé. who posted a tour of their accommodations on the team’s official Instagram account. The five-star Four Seasons Hotel on Boylston Street—right near Boston’s Public Garden—has reportedly been completely booked for the World Cup team.

In Koundé’s video, players’ rooms stand out for the personal touches. The rooms feature personalized posters and bathrobes, along with courtesy jerseys from the Celtics, Patriots, and Red Sox. “The room is really cool,” he says in French after walking into it. Later, he adds, “I really appreciate the warm welcome.”.

Captain Kylian Mbappé shared a separate glimpse of his room poster on his own Instagram account.

The timing matters because the World Cup schedule is already moving. France’s tournament begins Tuesday afternoon, when they face Senegal at 3 p.m. in East Rutherford, New Jersey. After a game in Philadelphia against Iraq on June 22. the team will play Norway on June 26 in Foxborough. a home game of sorts for Boston-area fans looking for a close-to-the-buzz destination.

Between the secrecy that can surround practices at Bentley University and the openness of this hotel tour, the message is clear: the comfort on Boylston Street is meant to be felt—and for now, it’s on display.

  1. So they’re staying at the Four Seasons instead of like a normal hotel? Must be nice… also why are they getting Celtics/Patriots/Red Sox jerseys in a French room lol

  2. I don’t buy it, this sounds like a whole marketing thing. Like the team posted it so everyone could look at the bathrobes? Meanwhile they can’t even play good. (Also didn’t know Boston had a Four Seasons on Boylston)

  3. Wait, isn’t Boylston Street where the train stuff is? How is a football team getting “courtesy jerseys” from other teams like Celtics and Patriots… aren’t those all totally different leagues. Also the article says they play Senegal Tuesday at 3 but then mentions Iraq? I got confused.

  4. Four Seasons being completely booked for them doesn’t surprise me, rich people swarm whenever a name is famous. If Mbappé’s room has a poster, I’m guessing it’s like Messi or something right? Idk, but I’m just glad it’s near the Public Garden so maybe fans can spot them walking around.
