Fortnite Reload x The Simpsons Details – Fortnite Guide – IGN

The beloved Springfield map is returning to Fortnite on July 30, 2026, but this time, it’s in Reload. There’s a brand-new John Wick-inspired POI, an exclusive Sprite, more enemies to kill, and more. Here’s everything we know about the Fortnite Reload The Simpsons collaboration and map.
Fortnite Reload x The Simpsons Release Date & Time
July 30, 2026 at 1:00pm
New POI: The Confidential
Not only is the entire Springfield map returning, but it brings a new POI with it: The Confidential, AKA The Continental from John Wick. The classic hotel serves as neutral territory for the criminal underworld in the movies, and in Fortnite, it’s also a no-violence zone.
Once inside The Confidential, you’ll gain passive healing, giving you a place to shelter if you need a patch up. If you were a fan of the limited-time Delulu mode, you’ll be happy to know that proximity chat is also enabled inside so you can strike up a friendly conversation with your enemies if you’d like.
While The Confidential has a strict no fighting policy, that’s not to say you can’t shoot at other players inside… But there are consequences. If you damage another player while in the building, you’ll become “excommunicado” and your location will be revealed to everyone on the map, making you an instant target.
Only one player can be excommunicado at a time, and that player will have unlimited stamina and increased reload speed. If you eliminate an excommunicado player, they’ll drop rare loot and 1,500 Gold.
New Sprite: John Wick Sprite
There’s a new Sprite in Fortnite: John Wick. Based on the deadly assassin himself, the John Wick Sprite is exclusive to Reload. Once you’ve found and extracted the John Wick Sprite, he’ll be usable in other Battle Royale modes such as Zero Build.
The John Wick Sprite is the only Sprite that can be used in Reload, and having it equipped reveals nearby opponents to both you and your teammates after you’ve knocked or eliminated another player.
You can get the John Wick Sprite by either finding it in a chest, eliminating another player that has it equipped, or by winning a match. If you find it during a match, you’ll need to use a Reload Portable Extractor to extract it and add it to your collection.
Free Simpsonified John Wick Fortnite Skin
If a new POI and Sprite wasn’t enough John Wick for you, there’s also a free skin up for grabs, provided you own the Battle Pass.
Complete enough Reload quests and you’ll unlock the Simpsonified John Wick skin, which is literally just what he would look like if he were a The Simpsons character. It’s pretty neat!

Quality of Life Updates: More Reboots and Chests Restock
Alongside The Simpsons content, there are a couple of Fortnite Reload quality-of-life changes. First, solo players will now have the opportunity to earn back Reboots, allowing them to stay in the game longer. When playing solo, if you have less than two Reboots remaining, you can earn them back by damaging enemies. You only have until the Reboot timer ends.
Additionally, chests now restock after a certain period of time. It sucks going to a POI and finding everything’s already been looted – but now, you no longer need to worry. Note that as nice as this would be in regular Battle Royale, this is a Reload-exclusive change for now.
