Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene accuses Laura Loomer of ‘nonstop insanity’ after the Trump ally calls Democratic Florida Senate candidate Angie Nixon ‘ghetto’ and a ‘communist’

Former U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene publicly accused right-wing activist Laura Loomer of “nonstop insanity” after Loomer repeatedly called Florida Democratic Senate candidate Angie Nixon a “ghetto Black communist b****” in a series of posts on X.

Greene, a longtime ally of President Donald Trump, said on X that she “1000 percent” denounced Loomer’s remarks, calling them “hateful, racist and demeaning.”

How the confrontation started

Loomer posted a video on X on August 29, in which she called Nixon and four other Black women in national politics “ghetto, entitled, race-obsessed, destructive black B—-ES who are completely unfit for the power they hold,” according to The Advocate.

Alongside Nixon, Loomer named U.S. Representatives Ilhan Omar and Ayanna Pressley, former U.S. Representative Cori Bush and Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Loomer also criticized a speech Nixon gave opposing resolutions honoring conservative activist Charlie Kirk. She described Nixon’s remarks as “Ebonics” and said on X that she might need to “bark” at Nixon and “tug” her “leash” so she would “finally understand,” according to TMZ.

Nixon fires back

Nixon responded directly to Loomer on X, referencing a 2024 promotional video in which Loomer ate “human-grade” bison organ dog food on camera.

“Girl. You ate dog food on camera,” Nixon wrote, according to The Advocate. She followed with a quote from entertainer Queen Latifah: “In the words of @IAMQUEENLATIFAH, ‘Who you calling a b—?’”

Nixon also wrote, “When referring to me, it’s Representative Angie Nixon. However after November 3rd, YOU CAN CALL ME SENATOR!”

She later posted, “Don’t let Lara Loomer calling me out of my name distract you from the fact Ashley Moody stole $10 million from kids. @AshleyMoodyFL is a THIEF! Donate to so we can send her packing!”

According to Frontpage Detectives, Nixon further suggested that Trump or her Senate opponent, Republican Ashley Moody, may have encouraged the attacks to divert attention from allegations that Moody misused $10 million in funds intended for children.

Loomer doubles down

Rather than retracting her comments, Loomer defended them in a Sunday night post on X.

“Is she ghetto? Yes. Is she black? Yes. Is she a communist. Yes. I spoke the truth,” she wrote, adding, “Why can’t I call her what she is?”

Across at least five additional posts that Sunday, Loomer repeatedly used the same slur against Nixon, according to The Advocate. In one post, she said Black women in Congress had “gotten away with way too much.”

She also attacked a bookstore associated with Nixon over its distribution of emergency contraception.

“I meant every word I said about Angie. This is ghetto,” Loomer wrote, according to Atlanta Black Star.

Greene, who previously served in Congress as one of Trump’s most prominent allies, condemned Loomer’s comments on X.

“I 1000% denounce Laura Loomer and her nasty, hateful, racists comments,” Greene wrote, according to TMZ.

Greene said she was not a Nixon supporter but argued that Loomer’s language had crossed a line.

“The Republican Party and President Trump owns Laura Loomer and her nonstop vitriol,” Greene wrote, adding that Republicans continue to keep Loomer in their “inner circle,” according to Reuters.

Greene also warned that Loomer’s rhetoric could hurt Moody’s campaign against Nixon, saying Loomer had “consistently hurt the Republican Party” while “whisper[ing] nonstop insanity in the President’s ear.”

“This is Trump’s new MAGA and Republican Party and I want nothing to do with it,” Greene added, according to TMZ.

She also questioned when Trump and the GOP would reject what she called Loomer’s “hateful racists behavior.”

Loomer did not back down after Greene’s criticism. Instead, she turned her attacks toward Greene, calling her “Marjorie Traitor Greene” in multiple posts on X, according to the Washington Examiner.

“Marjorie Traitor Greene says she’s not a Democrat and now wants to accuse me of being racist for calling a ghetto black Senate candidate a ghetto black b—-, because that’s what she is and I’m not afraid to say it,” Loomer wrote, according to the Washington Examiner.

Loomer also accused Greene of hypocrisy over her past employment of commentator Milo Yiannopoulos.

“This is the same MTG who hired Milo Yiannopoulos to work for her and let him live in her home where he plotted against President Trump and openly supported designated Islamic terror orgs like Hamas on social media and spread rumors that @POTUS faked his assassination attempt,” Loomer wrote, according to the Washington Examiner.

In another post, Loomer wrote, “Why is Marjorie Traitor Greene @mtgreenee accusing me of being a racist for calling a ghetto black communist b—- on the ballot a ghetto communist black bitch, but she won’t disavow what that ghetto black communist b—- @AngieNixon said about Charlie Kirk?”
