FBI Arrests Five in Alleged Drone Attack Plan

FBI foiled – The FBI reportedly stopped an alleged terror plot involving explosive drones targeting the UFC Freedom 250 event in Washington, D.C., with five suspects in custody by Monday and 23 people identified through Signal chats.

For an event that drew presidents, fighters, and a massive crowd, the mood in Washington, D.C. could have flipped fast.

The FBI reportedly foiled an alleged terror plot aimed at this weekend’s UFC Freedom 250, according to federal officials. The scheme, authorities say, called for explosive-packed drones to strike buildings near the event—an attack that would spark chaos and a mass evacuation.

Officials allege the endgame was more calculated. The panicked crowd, they claim, would be funneled into the path of a sniper team that had already been positioned nearby.

The targets, investigators say, included “capitalist elites” and “billionaires,” as well as politicians tied to donations from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.

By Monday, the FBI—working with other law enforcement agencies—had busted the alleged scheme and had 5 suspects in custody. Investigators also identified 23 people they believe were connected to the operation. using Signal chats that allegedly showed them discussing an attack on the UFC Freedom 250 event.

Authorities say they learned of the planned attack on June 10. The first arrests came soon after: an allegedly affiliated individual was taken into custody in Cincinatti. Organizers, investigators allege, had plans to travel to Fredericksburg, Virginia, on June 12 or 13 to kick off the operation.

The sequence described by authorities has a grim logic: explosive drones designed to create an immediate evacuation. then a prepared team positioned to exploit that movement. With the plot allegedly tied together through Signal chats. the case hinges on how early investigators spotted the plan—and how quickly they could disrupt it before the event began.

UFC Freedom 250 did go on. MISRYOUM previously covered the historic UFC event. where President Donald Trump and Dana White arrived on the White House’s South Lawn ahead of the fight via a red. white. and blue carpet following an epic flyover by 12 U.S. military jets. Heavy hitters including Kid Rock. Mackenzie Dern. Joshua Van. and Diego Lopes attended. with all seven fights ending in a knockout.

TMZ reached out to the FBI and Department of Justice for comment; so far, no word back. Police in Washington, D.C. directed the outlet to federal agencies.
