FanDuel and Kindbridge: a partnership all about strengthening player support

Responsible gaming is about more than the tools available on a platform. It’s about giving customers the knowledge to make informed decisions, and for the small percentage of customers who need additional support, making sure resources are readily available. That belief is at the core of the partnership between FanDuel, Flutter’s leading U.S. brand, and Kindbridge Behavioral Health. Since March 2024, the two organizations have worked together to expand access to education, self-assessment resources, and professional support when needed.

“FanDuel is continually investing in education, research, partnerships, because we believe in meeting our customers where they are and providing resources that work for them,” said Cory Fox, Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Sustainability at FanDuel.

A shared commitment to prevention

Kindbridge is an online mental health provider specializing in problem gambling, digital dependency, and other mental health concerns. While treatment is an important part of its work, the organization also emphasizes prevention and early intervention.

“We understand mental health and gambling can be closely connected, particularly among young men, so expanding access to behavioral health resources was a priority,” said Fox. “Kindbridge stood out for its focus on gambling disorder and its commitment to making treatment more accessible.”

For Daniel Umfleet, founder and CEO of Kindbridge, the partnership makes sense because the organizations share the same objective. “We both want to help people maintain a healthy balance,” said Umfleet. “That includes understanding finances, recognizing spending patterns, and making sure people aren’t gambling with money they don’t have.”
