‘Euphoria’ Season 4 Rumors Flare After Levinson Says ‘Done’

Euphoria Season – Even after Sam Levinson said “Euphoria” is finished for good, a parody post on X sparked fresh chatter that Season 4 could happen without him—distracting from the show’s turbulent final chapter and Levinson’s own insistence that the ending was final.

The finale may have landed, but “Euphoria” still won’t stay quiet.

After Season three concluded, Sam Levinson made it clear the series is finished for good. Still, plenty of people on social media latched onto a post that suggested something else—one message on X tied to a parody account claiming the show would be revived for Season 4 with a new showrunner.

The post. shared by the parody account Buzz Crave—which is not affiliated with Pop Crave or a legitimate news source—said: “Euphoria has been renewed for Season 4 with a new showrunner. as Sam Levinson steps down.” The account’s bio reads “Pushing Fan Agendas | Unofficial & Unaffiliated | Parody / Satirical / Unserious News Account.” Even so. the claim spread.

Within hours, fans responded as if it were real. One person wrote, “Right!. maybe Rue and Nate can be resurrected and crazy Cassie becomes a better person.” Another added. “With a new writer. maybe we will finally find out what happened to Laurie the drug lord or where McKay went” and attached a crying emoji.

The scale of the reach was striking: the original post has more than 800,000 views.

Not everyone was entertained by the new speculation. “I don’t know why they keep dragging it. This should’ve been the end,” wrote Chloe M. Hart (@lilblondiechloe) on June 21, 2026.

That frustration hits close to the way Levinson framed the show’s ending. After the finale, Levinson shared a post-episode clip where he said, “It just felt like the honest ending.” He added, “The honest ending is people like Rue don’t make it.”

He also reinforced that the finale was the definite end as recently as Friday, June 19.

The timing matters for fans watching the numbers. The finale racked up 8.7 million viewers for the streamer.

The rumor wave lands in a series history already shaped by delays and stop-starts. “Euphoria” originally premiered on HBO in June 2019, and it released two holiday specials in 2020 and 2021. Season two aired two and a half years after the end of season one. and the third—and final—season was delayed by COVID and then by the dual WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

So while Levinson has already treated the end as final. the internet keeps offering an alternate ending of its own: a revival imagined through a parody account. amplified by fans who say they still want unanswered stories to return—whether it’s what happened to Laurie the drug lord or where McKay went.
