Officers discovered her about 4:30 a.m. and she was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

He is due in court for a detention hearing later Wednesday at the Leighton Criminal Court building on the Southwest Side. Police said the relationship between the two was not immediately known.
