Dylan Walsh Says He Got in ‘Trouble’ for Spilling ‘Heated Rivalry’ Season 2 Secrets

Dylan Walsh has found himself on some thin ice!

Last week, the 62-year-old Heated Rivalry actor had a Cameo video he sent to a fan go viral on social media. On the hit Crave/HBO series, Dylan plays David Hollander, who is the dad of Hudson Williams‘ Shane Hollander.

“Getting ready to go back up to Canada and shoot some more episodes… I think we’re doing 12 this time,” Dylan accidentally spilled in the video, leading fans to speculate that they’re filming seasons two and three together.

After the video went viral, Dylan paused his Cameo account, which now states that he is unavailable to send personalized videos until August 2027.

In a message under his profile, Dylan wrote, “Stepping away because a video went viral that got me in trouble,” according to Entertainment Weekly.

Before Dylan‘s little slip-up about the amount of episodes they’ll be filming this time around, creator and showrunner Jacob Tierney previously said that he doesn’t want to make more than six episodes per season.

“I don’t need to do 10,” Jacob said at the time.“I would always rather tighten the belt than get loosey-goosey…I would rather be like, ‘Let’s see how much story we can pack into these episodes.’”

Production is currently underway for Heated Rivalry season 2, which is scheduled to premiere in April 2027.

If you didn’t see, the book series’ author Rachel Reid recently responded to backlash over the actors that were cast to play Harris Dover and Troy Barrett in the new season.
