Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese shared her mindset when it comes to rebounding after her historic performance.

Reese had a historic performance for the Atlanta Dream on Monday, grabbing a career-high 26 rebounds, including eight off the offensive glass, against the Los Angeles Sparks at Crypto.com Arena to set a new league record for most rebounds in a game and most rebounds in a single season.
The Dream beat the Sparks, 78-71, for their fourth straight victory. They improved to 25-13.
In an interview with NBC after the game, Reese was asked by Tina Charles about her mindset. The 24-year-old forward did not hesitate with a six-word declaration, while also saluting the WNBA legend.
“Anything that goes up is mine,” said Reese.
“You just got to have that mindset, you know. Even when I watch you and play against you, you go up there, you’re so aggressive, and you’re consistent every single night. That makes you one of the greatest players in this league, and I want to be one of those when I walk away from the game.”

Safe to say, Charles knows a thing or two about getting rebounds. She owns the league record for career rebounds with 4,262. She was also a four-time rebounding leader. She had two games with 23 rebounds. So she definitely understood what Reese said.
Reese, who shared a special moment with Nneka Ogwumike after beating the Sparks, is on track to lead the WNBA in rebounds for the second straight season, averaging a league-best 12.2 boards per game.
Her arrival has helped the Dream become one of the toughest contenders. She will play in the playoffs for the first time.
The Dream will return to action on Friday against the Portland Fire.
