Donald Trump says he’s ‘very happy’ Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the U.K.: ‘They treated the royal family with great disrespect’

Donald Trump won’t miss Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s presence in America.
During a press conference in the Oval Office, the President of the United States gave his thoughts about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s recent relocation to England.
Trump says he’s ‘very happy’ Harry and Meghan returned to the U.K.
In typical Trump fashion, the Republic didn’t hold back about his distaste for Harry and Meghan.
“[I’m] very happy about it,” Trump remarked via Newsweek.
“I was not a fan,” he added of the couple, who resided in California from 2020 until this summer.
Trump raves about his ‘very good’ relationships with Elizabeth and Charles
The conservative leader pointed out how his relationships with Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III made it hard to like the Spare author and the Suits actress.
“Look, I had a very good relationship with the Queen, really good, I got to know her very well,” Trump claimed.
“A really good relationship with King Charles…I’ve known him for a long time. He’s a great guy. I thought they treated the royal family with great disrespect,” he added.
Trump once called Meghan ‘nasty’
During a 2019 interview with The Sun, Trump was asked about Meghan’s past comments calling him “misogynistic” and “divisive” during an appearance on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore in 2016.
“I didn’t know that,” the former reality star responded.
“No, I didn’t know that she was nasty,” Trump said.
Meghan opened up about why she hasn’t spoken out against Trump in recent years
Despite being extremely vocal about her distain of Trump before he took office, Meghan has stayed mostly silent on him in the years sincde.
“Are there things you’re dying to say or do right now but you feel like you can’t?” Emily Chang asked the mother of two during an appearance on the YouTube series The Circuit with Emily Chang.
“No, I just make a choice of what matters to me and what’s important to me,” Meghan stated. “And that was a different time in 2016, certainly.”
