Donald Trump attends funeral with ‘human printer’ aide Natalie Harp as Melania skips the service
President Donald Trump‘s wife, first lady Melania Trump, did not join him at the funeral for Sen. Lindsey Graham, but that didn’t mean the president had to attend the service solo.
Instead, the 80-year-old commander-in-chief was accompanied by aide Natalie Harp, 34, Wonderwall.com can report.
She’s been called his ‘work wife’
Melania, 56, was reportedly working on a new project. Natalie, an executive assistant, was seen getting into a car with the president before the vehicle departed the White House and headed to the Washington National Cathedral.
Natalie has reportedly been seen accompanying him to nearly every event and meeting during his second term. Days before the funeral, she was seen next to the president at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware at a dignified transfer as the flag-draped caskets of fallen service members were returned to the U.S.
Her near-constant presence at the president’s side has fueled speculation about their relationship.
In late 2024, The New York Times reported that Natalie — a former host on the far-right cable channel One America News Network — earned the nickname the “human printer” during the president’s White House campaign because she followed him with a portable printer and battery pack, allowing her to quickly hand him hard copies of news stories as he prefers to read them.
“Wonder if she is more than a work wife?” one commenter on Reddit asked, as another quipped, “In-house stalker?”
Another commenter wrote, “So creepy how she looks at him. The girl is (obsessively) in love.” Another added, “Weird obsession. Like an I’d boil your rabbit if you leave me kind of weird.”
Her ‘adoring letters’
Natalie has been by the president’s side since 2022 and is known as a deeply loyal staffer.
Her devotion to Trump has long attracted attention.
In the bestselling 2026 book Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump by The New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, the authors wrote that “Harp wrote Trump adoring letters that she left in his personal spaces, including one that read ‘You are all that matters to me.’”
Natalie keeps the president supplied with good news
There’s speculation that her primary role is feeding the president news stories — but reportedly only those that praise him.
She’s been spotted everywhere from the Oval Office to the golf course. A report claimed she stayed in the women’s locker room at one of his golf clubs during the summer of 2023 so that she could remain close to him.
The Times reported in 2024 that she ran behind his golf cart so she could keep him up to date on positive stories and social media posts while he was playing a round in Scotland.
Following the president’s 2024 win, now-White House Communications Director Steven Cheung told the Times Natalie was “trusted and valued” and praised her “work ethic and dedication” for helping him win the election.
Natalie’s brother has questioned her relationship with the president
Her estranged brother, Preston Harp, has publicly criticized the relationship, telling the Daily Mail that it’s “very unhealthy.” According to Preston, “She’s just like his fan club.”
He also added, “I don’t understand why my sister, or anyone, could want to work for Trump.”
The outlet reported that other family members also no longer have a relationship with Natalie. “She doesn’t call me. I’ve accepted that’s the way it is,” said her paternal grandmother, Dolores “Dee Dee” Harp. Cousin Carolyn Creutzer told the Daily Mail that Natalie blocked her on social media.
According to Regime Change, the president privately told staff Natalie is the “only one who loved him as much as his wife and kids.”
He also reportedly also told staffers that while others would eventually move on to make money elsewhere, Natalie “will never leave me.”
